Romance is Alive...I have proof...

Are we living in a world that is so jaded that the idea of romance is the last possible answer to any relationship question, or is it just me?

When I meet someone, I inadvertently place them into one of three categories.

FRIEND

FRIEND-Maybe more

and WOW!!!

This method works for me, and it's a habit now, so it's automatically done in my head. A small secret between my head and my heart. It keeps my life in a false sense of organization.

Well, what do you do when someone starts jumping categories? The fact that this is such a huge surprise to me, inadvertently surprised me. Am I type-casting people in my life? Is it difficult to let a relationship go from friendship-to friendship maybe more.? I believe that the best relationships begin as friendships, however when someone's name is etched on the "friendship" stone, how is it allowed to move on to other things? The more you invest in a friendship, the more you have to lose in the relationship if it doesn't work out. How every un-characteristically pessimistic of me.

When a friendship takes on a new, romantic life, what's a girl to do? Risk the friendship, we only live once, or cherish the friendship and always wonder...it's hard to ignore romance done right. I just love daisies.

Life is good, I'm not complaining...however, this question is hovering my day. Maybe it's time for a beer. Have a great weekend, friends!
