Hey Guys well today is memorial day and it also happens to be my birthday. So here a second to think about the 8 brother in Arms from my unit killed in Iraq these last nine months.



The day after tomorrow I will be getting on an LCU (landing craft unit) for the last time and leaving the ship and stepping back on to California soil for the first time in nearly nine months (8 months 17 days) It will be good to be home and see my friends again and be able to go out and have fun with them. I hope to go hunting in Arizona some time this year as well as start racing Kart and dirt track modifieds, as well as starting a civilian job and college.

The last five years have been a wild ride and I have had to sacrifice a lot but I wouldn't change it for the world. In Hawaii last week I rented an 06 Corvette convertible to drive around and had a complete blast. Here is a link to a post I made about it.

I also met some awesome people in Australia around the beginning of the month I really like that place it seems like the kinda place you can raise a family I'll try to attach a pic of me and a Quacka possibly the cutest creature on Earth, they are very friendly.
