I competed yesterday in San Diego at the California state championship. I got a bronze medal in the mens blue belt division and a silver medal in the no gi division. I was kind of nervous cause this was my first time competing as a blue belt. I am so happy this is the first time that I have ever got in the top 3 spots before at a competition. The guy who beat me both times is a guy who I know and use to train with. We are not team mates but are both Machado guys so at least I got beat by a Machado not a Gracie. I trained pretty hard for this not the hardest that I have but I really had a fire to win. I want to thank everyone who wished me luck and gave me support on here. I think that this will be the last tournament that I do before I leave to Chile. I really want compete again I trained again this morning I will continue to train hard till I leave. I am going to make sure that when I leave I will find a place in Chile to train at. Here are some pics now.
