I think I'm 6m broken. I can't ever sleep anymore. I've always had troubles with sleep, however, they were different sorts of troubles. It used to be just that I could not get to sleep in the first place. The solution to this was fairly easy, I would stay up 24-30 hours and then sleep for about 10-12, it worked well to me, and I would never be tired before 24 hours or so. But more or less, once I was actually able to get to sleep, I could then sleep as long as I wanted, so not a big deal, just gave me a goofy schedule. But now, it doesn't matter how long I stay up, I can never sleep more than 3-4 hours, and then I'm awake for another long amount of time. Just today, I had been up well over 24, I went to sleep at 9 pm, I was EXHAUSTED, felt half dead, like I could easily be out for days. Woke up at midnight, and that was all I got. I'll probably be awake now till at least 10 o clock tonight, so... we'll see what happens there. I'll probably wake up at 11:10.

Lifestyle, depression - there are so many factors for not sleeping well. Personally - I take the easy way out and get a prescription for sleeping pills. It helps me get back in the rhythm of a sleeping pattern and after a couple of months I can ween myself off the pills and go solo.

I really hope you solve your sleep problem. It's one of the most important things...

I know the woes all too well man. My solution was to finally break down and get a new bed. Hoping it will solve my insomnia. I'm rather doubtful but at least its a step to helping me sleep. I'd take what Volatyle said and see about getting some sleep aid.
