Hello! ditto on the welcome. I've got that "must be cool" thing going on to, but i think most of us do it naturally just by being ourselves, so i'm sure you'll be fine.
And my latest political discussion (which started off lively but ended up heated, but not heated in a good way) was with a bunch of radical feminists (it sounds more fun than it is) about porn. I was violently defending my or anyone elses right to be in or look at porn, and...well, it was a losing battle, i ended up giving up, i'm sad to say.

I am kind of into the privacy of this operation, so I will just say that if you can figure out what progressive organization I work for, then you get a prize... not to take myself too seriously... I'm kind of keeping my memberhsip a secret for now.
