a continuation on the last thread:
Another one of my great discoverings, musiccally speaking, is Guillermo Klein, is plays the piano and is a composer with four albums out. He is from Argentina and is a friend of a friend, and he performs a great jazz/hybrid music that is amazing. I am so happy I know and have his music. I especially reccomend his latest album, "La nave", which besides great music features one of the most beautiful portraits on an album on ANY album of ANY genre, a classic in itself, as good as a Pink Floyd cover, a Anton Corbin photo cover (think U2 "The Joshua tree" or many Depeche Mode albums) or Sonic Youth's "Goo" (another one of my all-time great cd covers!).
Another discovery: I knew of Michael Connelly's writings by reputation but I had never read any of his stuff until this week, when I got my hands on "The narrows" and I loved it!
For anyone who loved the Thomas Harris books or the movies that where inspired in his writings, especially "The silence of the lambs".
