I will keep writing more journal now that I have the time (because I do not know if I wrote this here before but my college is on strike, therefore I am not taking classes this week), so I can make up for the long periods without updates.
I am listening to an old album by Ray Barretto named "Acid" which is a very very cool album, it has some brassy soul/rock music and also some old school New York salsa. I was listening before to the only album so far of a local salsa band named La PVC, and their album is "Olvidate del resto". I love this album (I really like it, even if I did not knew the band members), it is a very joyful album, extremely catchy!
This week the most important local basketball league started his nnew season, the Liga de Baloncesto Superior Nacional, with a game from the defending champions, the Ponce Lions. I love this league and that is my favorite team, I really like a lot of the players and they performed very well on their first two games so far. For those who are into basketball, some of those players played in national Puerto Rico basketball team that defeated the USA team in the last Olympic games.
Another I have been doing this week is watching the last "Angel" season on dvd. I love this show, and it saddens me that it was taken from the air by the WB (who surely are legally represented by Wolfram & Hart law firm).
