It has been since last I wrote, but I have been tired a lot this days, plust I got a bit of flu trying to get me down. Anyway, I am writing now, and that is what matters.
I got tons of new music and movies, plus the seventh season of Buffy. Some of the hightlights are the latest Alfred Hitchcock boxed set and the Bjork family tree boxed set. I cannot wait for school to end so that I can enjoy all that in peace.
Last saturday was pretty cool, a few friends hung out at my home,including Inocencia, her boyfriend, another of my best friends, Sirenia and her sister Melissa. We saw the Bjork videos on dvd and also some of the U2 vids, and then the unforgettable Ashley Simpson appearance on Saturday Night Live, hahahaha!! She is so weak, althought it has not hurt her sales, at my store keeps selling and selling, I guess her fans do not care wheter she sings or not...
Anyone heard the latest U2 album?? I think, and I might be too early to tell yet, that it is in the same league as "Achtung..." and "Joshua...".
I finished "1602"!!! and I loved it! Neil Gaiman cannot do anything wrong, I have enjoyed a lot everything I have read by him, and still "The Sandman" is one of the best things ever to have been read by me.
Last week I came upon the latest New Yorker, which featured an article about a law that banned public displays of religious devotion on public schools. It disturbed me because I have always been very liberal in relation to other people's conduct and I am also a very strong believer in the separation of Church and State, and I am also a firm believer that education can have an emancipating effect in people, yet muslims are struggling in France for their freedom to wear a veil in school. I am very very disturbed by this. Religious devotion is something which I have a hard time understanding, and yet I cannot stop thinking about it and being curious about the reasons people get that way, and the consequences of this phenomenoms.

A mi siempre me ha parecido Aquamosh un disco brillante, uno de mis favoritos de la historia, de siempre.
Yo escucho cualquier cosa que se me atraviese por ahi, a veces bajo discos a ver si me gustan y me gustan luego voy y los compro. Por lo general cada vez que me gusta alguna disquera investigo los artistas que llevan y me quedo pegado ahi hasta que cambio, como cada 8 meses. pero depende. Lo unico es que si soy bien ignorante en musica de antes del 80, no tengo ni un disco de antes del 80, si ya no me da tiempo de oir las cosas nuevas y me pongo a oir las viejas no termino nunca.
