This is the first update since Thanksgiving, wich was great!! Great food, family, a little bit of relaxing and tons of movie watching. Plus the it stopped raining a little. I hate when it rains for many many days in a row, it is drepressing, being without sun and opressing humidity.
I saw many movies this last 6 days: "Once upon a time in the west" (long version), "The santa clause 2", "Star Wars IV: a new hope" (2004 versions), "Star Wars VI: return of the jedi", "L'auberge espagnol" and Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory", and all were either good or great!!!
I loved "L'aubergne..." a lot, probably because I saw a lot about my life in it and developed a lot of simphaty for the characters. Also the themes explored in the movie, especially those about life in a global society and dealing with different people in a common environment. Also I miss my early years in college, those probably were the best of my life, right there with my childhood which was great too.
I finished "Plan of attack" by Bob Woodward, and I am now even sadder that Colin Powell will not be Sec. of State anymore because he was the coolest head in the administration. Now there will be no one left to question whatever insanity Cheney, Rumsfeld and co. comes up with.
I got today the latest "New Yorker" plus two graphic novels, "1602" and "The complete Moonshadow". Both are pretty cool, one by Gaiman and the other by DeMatteis, and I recommend all their work!!
