Hello! I wanted to keep track of the new music I got as soon as I got it in the journal but I have been lazy, so I will start now. In the last two weeks I got two Mecano albums, the self-titled one and also the one titled "Ya viene el sol"; I got the last two albums I needed to finish my White Stripes collection: "De stijl" and "White Stripes"; I got the second "Aterciopelados" album, called "El dorado"; the first Mazzy Star album, "She hangs brightly" and the live Smiths album, named "Rank".
I started yesterday, to read the Maureen Dowd collection of colummns about the Bush family named "Bushworld" and am liking it a lot. It sucks that althought I promised myself that I would finish books before starting to read more of them I now have four books left before finishing them, but hopefully I will finish the Bolano and the one by Palahniuk before wednesday so I can into "Middlesex and "Bushworld". Plus I want to read Sean Austin memoirs very much. I read a little bit of it at the bookstore and found myself hooked. It is a very happy and fun book about acting and filmmaking.
It is 8:30 pm in Puerto Rico and I am home because all my plans to go out fell out the window. The only thing that hurt was the fact that I wanted to hang out with a certain girl that canceled on me, with good reason, but still it sucks. And with our schedule I know it will take sometime before we can have a day for ourselves, like it seemed we were going to today.
Maybe I will write more later tonight, but this is all for now.
