A longer entry, where I write about what I did not earlier in the day:
1. About "Antes de que hiele", the best novel I have read this year: Rarely I read a book where I find myself or someone I know so vividly portrayed, and in this case it was scary. The main character, Linda, a policewoman (she has not started working yet, she will do so in ten days from the novel starts) is a kinda angrier version of a very dear friend. And I am afraid of telling her because in the novel, the character is a survivor of two suicide attempts, and I fear how she will take my remark about her likeness to the character if she read it and learned about this. I mean, I would not know how I would take it if it was me. Althought I am clearly not saying that she is suicidal, but there is so many of my friend in this book that it surprised me. Also, the book deals with terrorism and religious fanatism in a very interesting way, not only because the fanatics are christians but also because they are doing their deeds for different reasons than those in 9/11.
2. Great news: my dear Inocencia is staying in Puerto Rico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is still with her boyfriend but he will stay on New jersey for her doctor degree and she will stay in Puerto Rico with ME!!! I hung out with her on friday, Razel was with us too, and we had a blast!! We hung out at the Borders cafe and laughed and talked a lot. I bought another Ultimate X-men paperback and the latest issues of Magnet ad FouFourTwo, afterwards we went to a very nice argentinian place in Condado named Piu Bello, and we stayed there until midnight, the we took a walk down the beach and had more laughs, it was a great friday night!! And we might go out this week to the new Tarantino film, so yay!!!
3. My very dear Elga is in Puerto Rico until tomorrow!!! So I will see her for a few hours before she returns to NYC, I am very happy about that!!!! I need to give her a few books I finished, etc.
4. Boca Juniors vs. River plate= fucking classic game!!! It was a great tie, great atmosphere, intense playing with lots of goal opportunities for both teams, I loved this game, DALE BOCA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5. Barca won 1-0 and Real Madrid and Sevilla lost, so yay!!!! Barca is on top!
6. Arsenal won this weekend too, yay!!!!
I think I will end this now, Jennifer knows she has nothing to worry about, my heart belongs totally to her. I just love my friends a LOT! Tons of love to all, have a kick ass week.
