This is the second entry of the year:
I have not written in a while because of the job and because I am moody, because of my dad's health and how it affects him, me and the rest of my intimate family...but anyway, here is an entry:
As people who regularly read this know, my dear Inocencia left to New Jersey for a year and I miss her terribly, well, we spoke this week thru emails and it made me very happy, I need her in my life, I do not know what I would do withour her, I love her...
About my job: the end for music retail stores is coming, and I need to do a career change, very very much...
I had a great time last week: on Wednesday and Thursday I stayed with my dear Elga and her family and di tons of stuff together: we talked a lot about futbol, futbol books, the latest Jorge Volpi novel(which I have not finished yet due to the fact that I keep picking up other books, like Nick Hornby's "About a boy" and "Fever pitch" and others...the local baseball league (we went to a ball game in Carolina: Vilma, Elliott, Miguel, Elga and me, and we had a great time)(those are Elga's dad and mum and her boyfriend), the local political situation (wether an ex-governor of our Island will be tried for theft), music (Miguel, Elga's significant other, is a great jazz musician and music lover and we argue a lot about music, especially hip hop, jazz and rock), etc.
We went together on Thursday night to Taller Ce, a local place where people perform music, theathre, etc and we saw Miguel perform with other jazz musicians and it was AWESOME!!!! I loved especially the interplay between Miguel and the drummer, Henry Cole, it was fucking intense!!!!!
I have some more stuff to write down, but hopefully I will get to it tomorrow or on the weekend, have a great week and weekend you all, tons of love
