Friday night update:
Hello to all! This weekend did not work out as well as I thought it would, I got delivered sad news on Halloween's eve that messed up my weekand and will make my life harder, it will probably make me sad on Xmas time and I am already rather pesimistic about next year...anyway, whatever, we shall see waht happens...
Now onto nicer things:
1. I got two of the new Heroes del Silencio double cd reissues!!!!! and I cannot wait to get the other ones, they feature remastered music, plus tonw os extra live stuff, including out of print live albums like "Senda 91" and "En directo". With "Senderos de traicion" and "El mar no cesa", I cannot wait to get the other ones, especially "El espiritu del vino", which is one of my favorite albums of ALL TIME!!!
2. I want to watch "Borat"!!!! hopefully on tuesday!!!
3. I finished the incredibly beautiful book by Juan Villoro, "Dios es redondo", one of the best books I have read and my fav book about any sport. By the way, anyone who feels like giving me Xmas gifts, but my books about futbol, especially biographies and/or history books (please, not books about US futbol, pleaseeeee) but feel free to buy me books about European futbol clubs and Latinamerican futbol clubs, or just all-around sport journalism about this beautiful sport.
4. This week in futbol: no more teams from Argentina in the Copa Suramericana tournament, the remaining teams are Atletico Paranaense from Brazil, Colo Colo from Chile and Pachuca and Toluca from Mexico, and there is a big chance for a final between two teams from Brazil!!!!!!!! That would fucking rule! On the UEFA Champions tournament Barca tied with Chelsea and now have to win two games in a row in order to advance to the next round...man, Chelsea is playing really well, but we should have won dammnit!!! Also, Real Madrid won, but just barely, I really want to see their next game against Lyon, that will be some game, the rematch after Lyon wiped the floor with them on the first date of the tournament!!!! Also, Arsenal tied and played poorly, damnit, I want them to advance, they need to be more consistent!!!! Benfica got their revenge against Celtic...the next date is on the second to last week of November!!!!
I will write more on Sunday or later on the week, as I have more to put into writing, but now I will leave to watch Galactica, and to sleep, have a great weekend you all
