Monday night update!!
I had a great day today!! I guess I was not feeling very cheerful during the weekend, especially with all the working (I have been working straight for a while, until tomorrow, althought I get some free time Wednesday and Thursday) and also I was feeling kinda lonely, but what I should have done right then was to surround myself with friends, which is what I did today, and it worked!!!!
I went to my favorite bookstore, La Tertulia, in Rio Piedras and hung out. I know the owner plus I am friends of a few of the people that iether work or hang out there. I talked literature, music, politics and sports for a while and I got new books plus I borrowed another!!!!! I bought one novel by Santiago Gamboa and borrowed another one, one that is extremely hard to find, also, I bought another book by Kapuscinski, the fifth "Capital Alatriste" book by Arturo Perez-Reverte and the discovery of the day: "Dios es redondo" ("God is round") by the mexican writer Juan Villoro. It is a book, an essay, about passion and futbol. If you think about it, almost nothing brings more passion out of people than sports, and no other sport is bigger than futbol. This book is about fandom, love, hate, suffering and everything else that is central to futbol. I have read about 30 pages so far and I tell you people, every page is filled with beauty, I love this the writing, the words, the images, I am in love with this book, I guess I am in love with futbol too. (by the way, Real Madrid defeated us on Sunday 
but it was a great game, 2-0 with one goal by Raul and the other by Van Nilstelrooy (my fav player by them, besides Raul!!)) We, Barca FC, are playing Chelsea at Camp Nou on Halloween day, where we will get our revenge
Another that has me very happy is that one of my dearest friends in the whole world, Inocencia, finished her thesis oficially today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! Now I have her all to myself too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new Sting album is just beautiful!!!
One other thing: Aaron Sorkin made me cry again a few minutes ago... (everyone should watch "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip", some of the best writing right now on any genre or art medium)
I will end this now, but I wish you all as great a week as my Monday, tons of love to all, and all of you who are friends with Mr. Jamie_Trecker in your hearts, as he is not feeling well these days and is getting surgery to fix all that, so give him love and hopeful thoughts, I will speak more during the week, chao!
