This is a small update: I just got back from the Balun show and it was just pure magic. They are just beautiful beyond words. I had a great time with Inocencia, Ana and some new and old friends. I llove thois band so much, I am now playing their new cd, which I bought during the show, and I also have a t-shirt by them (which my dear Inocencia bought for me) and two other cd's of side-projects by members of Balun. That is all for now but expect pics from the show later in the weekend. This is all for now, oh, and the World Cup started and I watched both games today, and they ruled, especially the Ecuador team beating of Poland. Tomorrow Argentina and Paraguay play, so go support your fav teams and nations, have a great weekend, tons of love to you all!

i was just trying to think of a big ungraceful animal...after watching this movie packed full of elegant graceful women.... i was going to say clumsy horse, but then i thought that horses are really very beautiful and graceful so i thought that hippos are really bumbbilng, like i am. i mean, i slouch, i walk in big striding steps, i bump into things often, i trip over my own feet... i dont think there's a single graceful thing about me. it's not self abuse. i'm ok with not being graceful. just in comparison to all the women in memoirs of a geisha, i really am this bumbling clumsy thing
