Hello people!!! Is it bad that I am in a better mood because the USA baseball team also was eliminated!!
I am not alone also, a bunch of people here where cheering because of it and making tons of baseball jokes about them, and the fact that it was Mexico that where their executioners
oh, revenge is so sweet
Also, other things to cheer about are Earth, wind and fire's music, Sly and the Family stone, Tom Waits "Small change" album, La Habitacion Roja (my musical discovery of the week, along with Polbo, a local act that released their first official cd this week) and Moenia!!!
I finished Alberto Fuguet's "Cortos cuentos" on wednesday and loved it, I totally fell in love again with him. His characters are amazing. Its sad because the female characters are very deep and sensitive and I wish I could meet some of them here, almost all the ones I know, and they are only a few are my friends already
He has so much beautiful scenes in it, I was constanly in awe of the writing, this has to be my favorite book of the year so far and one of my favorites in a while, so run to the bookstore and get it, it is translated and published in english, so there is no excuse.
It is one AM in my country, so I am going to stop and write more tomorrow, have a great weekend, go watch the semis and the final games of the World baseball classic and cheer for the teams that play the better and try their best to make their nations look good ( I love my team, they did a great job, all of them, Bernie Williams, for example, and the Yankees do not deserve him), bye!!!

and you knowing of juliana AND evan dando, my best girlfriend would adore you! anyone who even knows of them, earns big points... and i do love it when men love Juliana because she's so female friendly, and men seem to shy away from music that is from a totally female point of view (in my experiences at least). and i must say, i've heard that cover of Luka, on some german i think, radio program that my friend was able to find from way back when...Mallo-Cup was played as well. that's all i know (it could seriously be any other country, and i'm just remembering it wrong).
kristin has introduced me to alot of good music, but i tend to take it all in a different direction from her...she sticks to what i call "college" music (i know that term was used for the kinda of "alternative" that was more on the accoustic soft side in the mid 90s), while i like almost everything from the early to mid 90s (nearly anything that could be considered "alternative" at least)...
bah! i could go on forever about this junk! so i'll stop now...
