I still feel like I'm 17, but more boring. Is that weird?

Ahhhh! I'm more excited because: 1) stare and spacecadet are driving down to see me tomorrow night; 2) Tiffany comes home from MD/TX/AZ Sunday night, and 3) Koleeta is still here til Tuesday! BEST FRIENDS EVERYWHERE!!! No, seriously, you have absolutely no idea how happy this makes me. PARTY! (And by "PARTY!", I mean sitting at home being girly and drinking girly drinks and watching stupid girl-gets-guy-and-vice-versa movies.) I just wish stare and spacecadet didn't have to leave so soon, or that Tiffany would come home sooner so that all of my best friends could be in one place... Oh well - I can't have my cake and eat it, too! (Good thing I'm not a huge cake fan. The band Cake, however, is quite nifty.)
Boo for missing work yesterday and not being able to go to the big screening of The Breakfast Club with everyone last night, even though I had tickets.
But, hooray for Afrin, nasty zinc cough drops, Alka-Seltzer Plus non-drowsy cold med tabs, green tea and water to help temporarily alleviate my sickies.
Aside from being sick, I'm actually enjoying life right now. I hope you are, too.
Edit: stare and spacecadet have postponed their trip til next weekend. :sigh: Better later than never.
