Last Friday I was talking to oipthestampede and my co-worker kyoko about how I get to work every day. I said I used to skateboard every day back when our office was located off Pine and Ocean. Now that we moved into a loft near the East Village, it's more of a pain in the ass because the only smooth path to skate on is going along Long Beach Blvd. and 4th St. Every other street is torn up like woah, and I only know how to skate to get around. "I don't do tricks, and even if I did, I'm not about to olly all the way to work." Although...now that I visualize it, it's a pretty funny image. Can you see me doing that? Ollying all the way to work? Question mark? (I had to make that quote bold because it's the main part that oipthestampede said I should put in my journal.) The rain is nice, too, but I don't skate in the rain because my bearings will get all fucked up. They already need maintenance cos they're dirty. Ewww.

What an exhausting season! Last month there were a lot of friends' birthdays...my two bestest friends (lapsed SG members stare and spacecadet both turned 22. Awww. There were two Halloween parties I attended this past weekend. The weekend before that was bean's birthday masquerade party. I'm pooped! But tomorrow night is the election party, and this weekend is Disneyland! Yey! I'm so excited. The only sad thing is that unlike the past two years, my buddy stare won't be attending with me because she's stuck in bumfuck nowhere (aka Kansas) with her hubby. It just won't be the same without her. At least I will have Jeremy and Koleeta to make trouble with, though!

Update: Christmas shopping! Crap! If I don't start soon I will forget someone and it will be sad. SAD.
