I've been trying to write lyrics to some songs that my band wrote. This particular song has been playing for awhile now and I can't seem to write anything for it. I feel like an idiot because I can't get past two lines. Times like this make me wonder how I ever wrote anything in the past! Maybe I'm just not as creative as I used to be. I don't know. But I can't give up now. This means so much to me and if I don't have this I feel like I won't have much.

I want this song to mean something. There will be other songs, of course, but I want to finish this one so badly.

what's up! i posted in your musician's group thread. check it out. now that i read your journal, i realize you're trying too hard to write something!!!! i sense some frustration. relax, and just write whatever. then you can go back and edit, leave out what you don't like and add to it.

But then, who am I to gripe that the place I go to j erk off is run by jerk offs?
