I can't stop laughing at this one. The caption on the SpookyLand page says "Hang in there, buddy. I'm gonna go get some ointment." Bwahahahaha!


That's what happens to me whenever I go down the slide, too.

I was at Tower today and saw the Halfsies set for a ridiculous price...so I'm just going to wait. I think the reason I'm so amused is because I used to do this with my gummi bears. I think I wrote an entry mentioning this. In fact, I'm pretty sure that spacecadet has a napkin or piece of paper with mismatched disembodied gummi bears on it. There was a Sprite bottle that we put a gummi bear in, hoping to find it enlarged in the morning. It was slightly different when we woke up -- like a monster! Eh but not really, I just pretended it was bigger than it really was, only because we heard somewhere that if you put gummi bears in Sprite and leave them overnight, it's supposed to be huge when you wake up. Did you ever see that Simpsons episode where Bart got the package of dinosaurs that were supposed to grow humongous when you put them in water? And he imagines the dinosaurs growing huge enough to attack/eat Lisa (my memory is shoddy, sorry), so he calls Lisa out to the front of the house where he's ready with the hose and she comes out and he wets the dinosaurs and all they do is float down the driveway and into the gutter drain...it's kind of like that, the gummi bears w/Sprite thing.

Anyway while I was at Tower looking at the box for the Halfsies, I had a difficult time containing my laughter. I'll have to actually purchase them to show you what amuses me so.

Yeah, this is the kind of entry you get when I only update a week or so at a time.

Also: Please stop by Jasechase's journal and tell him he's soooooooooooooooooooo awesome! And if you're still in a giving mood, please don't hesitate to say hello to Jeremy too, because he doesn't ever get comments anymore. But don't tell him I told you to say hi because he'll get all butthurt about it and probably steal all the covers when we go to sleep.

3rd update: Maybe I shouldn't write exactly how I'm thinking, because I just end up trying to correct it after hitting "save entry." And just so you know, this is exactly how I speak, too!
