So I was just coming out of a store today and I heard some opera music on the street and was trying to figure out what store was piping it out onto the sidewalk.

Japanese restaurant...nope...coffeeshop...no...Mexican restuarant...not likely

And then I saw where it was coming from, this old, unshaven man walking down the sidewalk. He was totally belting it out, and he could really sing, like professionally trained. I looked at him with this shocked, appreciative smile and his eyes twinkled at me as he walked by. And it made my insides smile at humanity. Like sometimes there are these wonderful gifts hidden under grey stubble we never would have expected.

When I rode my bike home it started to rain. It's hot and humid today and the rain felt totally awesome as I rode uphill. I just wish my glasses had windshield wipers, lol. There's probably a rainbow out there right now.
