Thank you to all you sweeties for the birthday wishes 
The day started out with me still sick, I had lost my voice on Tuesday, and I went to school and wrote a Health exam
I took myself for eggs benny after and then back to class
Every thursday night I meet up at one of my girlfirend's house where a handful of us hang out and talk. So when I showed up my bestfriend layed me (as in the flower necklace...still nice to be able to say I was layed on my birthday :blush
and as I walked into the kicthen there was a group of girls and guys with party hats, blowing party noise makers and bubbles at me.
We went for a Thai dinner and one of my friends made me an angel food cake. It had pink frosting. And it was cherry chip flavor, which was my favorite kinda of cake when I was like 4. She had no idea it was my favorite as a child and it made me laugh to see it after so many years.
My last 2 birthdays had been really lame. Last year I spent it at a laundrymat and then going to work. I had decided that birthdays suck now and my bestfriend went out of her way to make it specal for me, and I love her to pieces.
You ever have a bestfriend who could send you into blackholes of laughter over some truly twisted inside joke? I hope so because that is the best feeling. Having someone you can be your honest true self with, to share those dark little thoughts you don't want to tell anyone else about, and be a total mess with and who just loves you unconditionally and makes you realize that you're ok.
I use to make my birthdays these insane celebrations of debauchery but after the last 2 lame ones decided birthdays are just another day. And yesterday started just like any other day except that I had so much love and wishes flowing to me from old friends, new friends, past coworkers, classmates and SG land. It was pretty fantastic.
