Wow, I just had probably the nicest Christmas ever!
I have pretty much hated Christmas ever since I was, well, even in elementary school I can remember thinking that Christmas was really stressful and annoying. Every year I dread the holidays so I drink too much and such to escape the coming festive season, then when it actually comes I party hard and think "this is the best Christmas ever" and it passes and I realize it wasn't the horrific ordeal I imagined it would be.
This year was completely different though. Early this year I decided it was time to start showing up and being present in my own life. I made choices to do the things I had wanted to do for so long. I went to school. I sobered up. I became a Suicide Girl. And I discovered the joy of the holidays, the love of good friends.
I cooked up a huge feast with two turkeys and opened my home to anyone who wanted to come. The guy from the 24hour Convenience store I invited on Christmas Eve never showed, but it was still a pretty good turn out. There was so much food and laughter it was awesome
And I was completely spoiled with presents and love. I am such a very fortunate girl!!

Xmas was fun times, you can tell by the show picture in my journal...nothing beats hanging out with gorgeous women in various states of undress. Oh yeah and all that family stuff was OK too.
