I bought some brand spanking new snow tires and wheels today. I didn't really need the wheels, but it seemed easier than having everything re-mounted on my existing wheels every season. And since there were some reasonably priced packages I just took that route. The wheels are black and it gives my car a slightly ghetto look. To be honest I prefer how my factory wheels look... but I wasn't super picky and I didn't want to spend even more money. So whatever. At least now I have a greatly reduced chance of sliding off the icy roads.
Ate at Wes' Rib House today. I had the smoked pig platter. Now Providence, RI is hardly where you would ordinarily go to find outstanding barbecue. But if you just so happen to be (live) here, then this is a pretty good choice.
Nothing much else to report. Well, there's a bit more to report about the last serious topic I discussed, but I'm not quite ready to share yet.

I really want to get some monster tires for my Jeep but I'm so broke I was lucky I could afford fix a flat when I got a flat tire a couple of weeks back.
Good call on the snow tyres, better safe than sorry.
