I have to confess something.

But first -- to the GUYS reading my blog, now would be an excellent time to go to the fridge and get a beer. Find a frosted glass... make it a nice, slow pour. Come back in about four minutes.

I saw "Mamma Mia" today at the Providence Performing Arts Center. Not the movie -- the actual live performance. For those of you unfamiliar with it (which I imagine isn't any of the women reading this) it's a musical based on ABBA songs. I went with my three sisters and mother... it was Mom's Christmas present. It's a very, very mother-daughter type of story.

But I must admit... it did not suck. I mean, don't get me wrong... it's no "Les Mis". But I didn't find myself itching to leave. So as "girly" a story as it is... and as cheesy as the songs are... it was well performed. Quite funny at times too. So I give major kudos for taking something that is so uninteresting to me on the surface and turning it into something I actually enjoyed.

Ahem. Welcome back, guys. Shame about those Patriots, right? Robbed. Maybe Brady will be back next year.

Margaritas are another weakness of mine.
I've never seen Mama Mia. I told myself that I'll be catching 'Spam a Lot' when it comes back in town.
