Rhode Island is pretty much one big "hometown" really.

I dislike "fall back".

Rather than get an hour extra of sleep, I'm up at the usual time my internal clock is set for. 5am... except instead it's now 4am. And I waste that time away being both tired but not sleepy, if that makes any sense.

Not having a ton of success on the dating front lately. Met or talked to a number of interesting folks, but nothing has really come of it all so far. Not like I'm anxious... it'd just be nice to have someone to spend all my extra free time with at this point.

I'm a bit late, but I've gotten around to subscribing to Showtime so I can see season 3 of "Dexter". One of the best shows on television today.

Finally saw "Indy 4" and I didn't think it was as bad as some of the negative commentary I'd previously heard. I wouldn't call it the best of the four but I'm glad I picked it up.

Lately I wish I was funnier. I seem to recall being quite amusing when I was younger, if slightly short of hysterical. I seem to have lost some of that edgy wit.

I'm tempted to buy a Blu-Ray player, but it goes against my desire to reduce my debt.

Two weeks until Quantum of Solace.

I've been tossing around the idea of pursuing a degree. The University of Phoenix has a campus about an hour from me, and I'd only need to make that drive once a week. My new company has an 80% tuition reimbursement program. Hard to beat. The issue is my motivation. At least for the time being, I'm satisfied with what I'm doing. So I wouldn't be educating myself towards some grand goal I've got in mind. I'm inclined to think that to pursue a degree one ought to at least be enthusiastic about it, and I'm not. But it seems like an opportunity as well, and I may not want to sit behind the wheel forever. Meh... I dunno.
rizzo:
I would go back to school just for the whole tuition-reimbursment deal. But if you're happy with what you're doing, why bother? Just my opinion....
