So I've spent most of this week running back and forth the dirty dirty. It's been something of an insane pace, and I have paid the price in lack of sleep. But now that the worst of it is done, I'm finding it difficult to complain much. I was getting really bored of the same old back-and-forth from Ohio to the east coast. So hitting the Atlanta area for three trips in a row is (at least) a nice change of pace. It sucks when you see nothing but the same roads for months at a time.

Sure, it would have been better to get loads to Laredo, Texas or Miami. But would it? There's been some pretty severe weather lately. Even strong thunderstorms in Atlanta but certainly nothing to compare with the shit they got around San Antonio.

And to be perfectly honest, I wont have any complaints when I see the paycheck from a 4000 mile week. Cha-ching! $$ After all, I have a new laptop and a Disney vacation to save up for.

I've got cargo going to Connecticut and Springfield, Massachusetts on my truck right now. That is supposedly going to let me get home on Monday. And I am hopeful that once there, I can stay until after the 4th. Perhaps go back to work on Thursday or whatever. That'd be good. I have new DVDs waiting at home (season 1 of "Deadwood" and season 4 of "Miami Vice"). Which is just dandy since I'm all out of entertainment at the moment. I mean, other than watching beautiful SGs like Kiora and Sophie.
