Occam's Razor is the principle on which I base most of my beliefs. I think we as humans have a tendency to over-complicate many things. In a self-delusional way.

I have a pretty decent regard for Occam's razor. I study buddhist and especially Zen buddhist thought with a lot of comparable objectives, to clear BS out of my mind so as to leave me clear to just see what's there. Harder to do than you might think.

Kind of vexed that the old POS car that I bought to replace my defunct POS has its own issues. Any car purchase unless you have money for a seriously good car is going to be something of a throw of the dice.

Theoretically I could test for my CDL in three weeks If I were ready and had the cash to pay for the test. Who knows.

Managed to give myself a fairly annoying trucking unjury. Popping out the yellow tractor brake takes so much force and it snaps out so violently that I've manage to make my right index finger swell up from the impact.

The training trucks are mostly International single axle day cabs. There's also an old freighliner that they take the newbies out for shifting drills in.

Random thought- you did your test in a pup trailer. In mass and Ct the trailers have to be at least 40 ft long to test. Mass tests in flatbeds, I think because all the equipment on the truck has to be working and they can't necessarily get at a running light that's out and situated on the top of a van.

I changed my knob pullout technique to using the first joint of my index finger to pull. It's a lot less vulnerable; the tip of my index finger is still swollen actually.
