Thanks to herculean effort, I'm home now for a couple of days. I'm pretty wiped out because I put in some major driving time this week.

I made the decision to give NutriSystem a try. In order to be able to prepare the meals, I bought a new 1500 watt power inverter for my truck. Needed that to supply electricity to a microwave. I previously has a tiny 400w inverter but I only used it for my laptop and charging my cell phone and electric shaver. The microwave will require the extra juice. I'll be buying a microwave tomorrow as well as picking up the food. UPS tried to deliver it today but I wasn't here yet to accept it.

It'll be a big change for me to eat "my own" food as opposed to hitting up the truck stop restaurants. But I'm really tired of adding more pounds every year. I'd like to get back to a reasonable and healthy weight and this program SOUNDS right for me. Something where I really don't have to do any work. Heat and eat. Anyhow, we'll see how that goes over the next 5 weeks or so as I give it a try. I just hope the portions aren't so small that I'm feeling hungry all the time.
