Well, things weren't looking too good this morning but the situation is SLIGHTLY better now. The problems with my truck were minor and easily corrected. I got to my pickup appointment an hour early and they were willing to load me ahead of schedule. I made it east past Columbus already (sorry oldsarge, no time for socializing today at least). I filled up my tanks and I'm taking a break for early dinner and a shower.

I'm still really tired. I drove about 800 miles yesterday (don't tell the D.O.T.!) and I'm working on 3 hours of sleep. As I stated earlier today, I will be working (driving) until about midnight or so. That isn't ordinarily a very big deal but considering the mega day yesterday and sleep deprivation, it is killing me). My morning delivery is at a Mack truck facility in Hagerstown, Maryland.

I got rid of most of the lingering stench from my smelly passenger with a once-over of all my truck's surfaces with either Armor-All, Windex, or Febreeze depending on the application.

I missed most of today's live Howard broadcast, but I've managed to catch at least 2/3 of it on the replay. (He has two radio channels to himself, one of which just keeps re-broadcasting his show for the rest of the day until his next live morning). Artie called in from LA where he's shooting some TV show (I think?) called "Entourage". He gave some very entertaining descriptions of his scenes with the delicious Leslie Bibb Luckyyyyyyy...

Anyhow, I realize bacon & eggs with french toast isn't exactly the kind of meal I should be eating when I don't need to be gaining any more weight... but to hell with it. I'm tired, hungry, and grumpy and it's hitting the spot. Man am I gonna sleep good tonight for the 7 hours I'm hoping to get.
