It is 104F in Laredo. Cripes. Got the curtains drawn in the truck and blasting the AC. It's a serious waste of fuel but since the truck doesn't have one of those new external air conditioners I'm sure as heck not going to sweat my ass off. I'm not paying for the fuel. Someone will complain about me letting the truck idle so long but what choice is there? So whatever.

If I ever go back to owning my own vehicle I will absolutely get one of those devices so I can stay cool without keeping the engine going all the time.

I was a bit disappointed that they still haven't finished building the new Flying J down here. I was sorta looking forward to it... plus having a lounge would mean I wouldn't have to hide out in my truck to stay cool. The truck stop that I'm at instead is a Pilot and just has a Subway and McDonald's. Nowhere comfortable to hang out really, and what boring food choices for being in the south-west. Hopefully tomorrow I can find a street vendor for some tacos!

I don't HATE the new SG look, but it really annoys me to not have easy access to bookmarks, and that only 3 are shown at once and only about the first sentence of each as well. That quite sucks.
