I just learned on the History Channel that many airports use falcons to keep the space free from birds. Birds present a serious danger to aircraft.

That's friggin' cool. Not the endangered aircraft... the falcons. How do I change careers and become a falconer? heh...

EDIT: Okay I'm not REALLY serious about the falconing, it is just something I found fascinating. An occupation I never...

My blood pressure is too high. Seriously.

I mean... I feel fine. Great even. But I've been tracking my BP and it is in the range where I'll be disqualified from driving the next time I take a physical.

So... I need to get a doc. I don't even have one. Then I need to get on some meds. I'm a bit worried about this....

I woke up in a Soho doorway
A policeman knew my name
He said "You can go sleep at home tonight
If you can get up and walk away"

I staggered back to the underground
And the breeze blew back my hair
I remember throwin' punches around
And preachin' from my chair

I can't explain in English very well, I do not use polaroid film for the projects I'm writing about, the young people or the elderly home, that's probably black and white real film. Not polaroid. I like polaroids for lots of reasons, there are a few really bad ones though but also some that I think take pretty rad pictures. I like that there are almost no time from when you take the pictures till it's done, and it is what it is. So much is about "fixing" a picture after it's taken, or wait till it's developed, I just like that about polaroids. And that there are only one exemplar of it of course. It can be used for special things...

and also, i think the newest digital cameras sometimes make too perfect pictures, it just look.. weird to me and not very artistic either. sometimes a "lack of quality" makes me like a picture more. maybe sounds crazy but thats the way it is. like the lomo cameras, they can take much more dreamy pictures than most super cameras at least from all the pictures i've ever seen. it's a feeling about a picture, not the "quality-quality" miao!!

I'm gonna watch this documentary that's on Discovery Channel tonight called "Grizzly Man". I don't really know much about it aside from the obvious. Guy goes into the wilderness and films bears. Eventually gets killed.

Not really sure what my motivation is in watching it... but I'm curious nevertheless. In some ways you have to think "well, what'd you expect?" when you contemplate his fate....

I watched a really lame movie on Comedy Central this morning. It was pretty bad, truly. But it reminded me that the best job I ever had was working at a summer camp. Did it for several years and it was without a doubt the most memorable "teen" experience in my life. One of these days I need to go through the old photo albums...

So my most productive thought of the day has been debating if I should keep the beard as-is, or return to a full goatee.

Earth shattering, I know. wink

That... and what to have for dinner. I'm leaning towards sirloin tips and veggies.

I recognize my utter failure to keep this page updated in a reasonable fashion. There simply hasn't been a whole lot going on worth talking about. Well... there are SOME changes I guess.

I also recognize my own stereotypical maleness in being snapped back into the mood to update by seeing a lovely picture of FigmentofaPearl in her journal. Ok so yeah... I'm a visual...
