Monday I had a meeting with my tattoo artist, I had booked a time for consuating.
I didnexactly know what should happen on the meeting. Anyway, the shop assistent said to my artist that i was her next costumer.
" What shall we talking about" she asked me
"I dont know"
She lokked stange at me and asked
"what style are you intrested in and what motive"?
I dont know that eithe" I said and she looked very confused and probably thinked thjat i was wey weird... But then I telled her that i would like to talk about a sleeve, but that I was not sure what the style was called, New or old school...
" I dont know what i doing either, some one says that I do Oldschoool and somone call it new schooll...Have you any pics?
" Yes, I have pics on tattoss that I like, but I dont like to have just them, but they show what I Like and i cant see the whole picture of the sleeve in my heead." I said an showed her what i have.
I had printed out many pics on sleeves and other cool tattoos and write down comments what I liked about the tattos and why I liked them.
"this have never happen before" she said...you have doone all the job for this meeting all ready"
Many of the tattos was made by here, but ofcorse I had some pics fromthis site to. But no one need to be worried that I will copy yours, it was only to show what style and for insperation.
I think she get a cleear picture of what i want., She said " Its good that you like my stuff and my style, you are also giving me pretty mouch free hands" (up to her to work somthing out)
You want a well planed and well done sleeveis that corect?
"exactly"
"Fuck, thats great, fun...Very cool"
Then she looked in hte calender to when I have booked the time for the tattoo and it was good that i had 2 whole days booked so far...
Then she asked who i worked, she said the sche would like to meet me one more time before tha tattooing to print the tattoo.
The shop assistent who was ockupated of otehr thing and didnt heard the whole conversiton said when my artist looked in the calender to find a time for that. " He has already 2 time booked"
"Yes I know, but I like to meet him before and make a print of the tattoo, this gonna be somthing special and I would like to have it planed in detail before ."
"Should it be ok september 22 at 5 PM?"
Now it was the shop assistent who looked confused and probably thinked that my artist have went crazy or get drunk or somthing....
The shop cloosing 5 PM and what I could understand is this somthing she dont usually do.
I asked her how much it would cost next time , so I know how much money I need in my wallet"
"It will dont cost anyting whien we make the print"
I think that she liked my Ide very much. I could se that she get the fier in her eyes and been exited for this projekt.
This was the first time that i meet here, but I have done much reserch and the meeting feelt very nice. I feel that I can trust her to100%.
Its gonna be a long wait to spetember 22 nad than a long wait again to 21 october when the waork begin.
But its feels soo good and right, I sure that i did a good choice of artist.
I think it was a good idea that i showed here many of her own works and that i had maked coments why I liked them. That give her a clear picture of what I iked about her works and what kind of stuff i want.
I think she will draw up some skisses before we meet and e-mail me this, She talked about to work out few diffrents propositions before we meets.
She is one of swedens best tattoo artist, so why sholud I tell her how she should do the work. I cant draw,she is the expert, not me. Ofcourse, if I find somthing in her propositions that i dont like I will tell her that and she gonna do some changes.
Well....when i Got the tattoo, I will upload a pic.
When I made my choise of artist I looked for a artist who have done many tattos in the style that I like to have.
Price and lokatin was not importent to mee, but Im happy that I found one artist only one hour away from me..
One more importent thing is that i can trust the artist, and i feel that I can do that.
Now after that i have made my choise I think its can be good that she is a girl...I feel more comfortabel when I talk to a girl than a man... I think its feels litle unconfortabel when exempel my detist ask me stuff like what my intrest is, If I have any family, What I like etc and he is a man, but myl last dentist asked same qustieons but she was a girl. I think I can talk more open to girls than to men when it comes to personal stuff an feelings and I think its important that I can speek open whit tha artist
