Is smoking weed bad ?
Here is the reson that I ask this question. We have had Uppsala Reaggefestival for a few days now. I dont went to that convention. 20 000-30 000 other peopel did and the police took about 250 people for smoking weed. Every year the police says that if they had more polices they could taking many more people. But they even says that the reagge festival is friendly and ther is very few other crime on this festival. This year the other crimes had incrase. There was more people that was to drunk. More robber than the last years and so on....
I just think that more people get drunk this year, and that is one of the reason that the robber and other crime incrased.
I just think some of the visitors was afraid to smoke weed, just becaose the police, and get drunked instead. I just wounder if the razzia the police do every year on regge festivalen do more harm than good. Maby if the police let them smoke weed in the festival atrea and didnt care, just maby the festival would be more peaceful.
Well the police took about 50 people who was under the age of 18...But if the people are 18 or older, why not let them decide what they would like to do on the festival.
I dont think that smoke weed a few days a year do any more harm than drink alcohol on the weekends.
But I dont know, I have never smoked weed: I dont know anybody who do it, what I know, but I guess that I mabey know someone who do that without that I know that.
I remeber one time when I took the Train to Stockholm 10-15 years ago one guy rooled what i think was a joint, he asked me if I would like to join him and smoke with him at the trains toilet... I didnt.
That is the only time that someone asked me if I would like to try. If some one asked me that to day, Maybe I would go for it if the place was right, If there was no chance that the cups would come. But im not sure.
