Should a coworker pay money if they get a lift home from work in my car?
I drive the distance anyvay, but why should they not pay me alitle for the gas?
They save money and time compare with train. Thats a hard question. But Im thinking this way, Why should I be nice to them every day and let them come in to my car and I pay the whole cost:
Its ok if its only a few times, but if it been very often I think they could pay me some money for the gas.
To day I had prommised 3 coworker to get a lift home from work, and a 4th asked me to, My ansver was that the car was full already, the truth is that one more could get in, but he never ask if I want some gas money.
One of the other who get a lift was the girl whos father picked her up when My car was with the glaizer, and I get lift home that day. Theres no questions if she should pay som gas money, I prommised that she would get lift home when my car was fixed, so thats not more than far that I get her lift home.
One of the other who get lift home I know pay some money now and then, not every singel day, but she pay me more the days she pay. Thats ok to pay more money one day then give litle every day.
We lives pretty close, so I drive by hers apartment anyway, so ther is no extra trouble for me to pick her up, but she pay me some mone anyway. And if she would take the train, she would be home at 11PM, and now she comes home 9.30PM.
Next week me and another guy gonna drive every second day. The problem is that he lives far away from me, If I pick him up its gonna be next the same distance that I have to my work, But at the other way... He gonna drive his car to my home and left the car at my home when I drive, He says that he save money that way to only need to drive the half distance..
There is aniother guy that asked if he could come with us in the car, but he lives in another direction....
The guy who gonna drive some days lives at north from me, we work surth from me... The another guy lives east from me.
I think we cant drive around the whole city to pick up people and left of people every day. But thats feels litle rotten to.
If they take the bus to my side of town its one thing, but i dont think its fair that I need to drive around the citiy.
