Okay I'm back...Didya miss me?

Burning Man was majestic. Words cannot describe it. So I won't try. I did take about 250 pictures though, some of which I'll post in coming days.
re-entry into "reality" has been a bitch.
I woke up the first mornig back becasue I had stupidly scheduled myself for work. I got to my car to find a parking ticket. I was too tired when I got home the night before to notice that I had parked in a street sweeping zone. It was sort of fitting because i got aparking ticket the last day i was in town too. Those two make three parking tickets in a month. FUCK. They always come in threes for me.
So then today I find out that there are going to probably be layoffs at my work. This, I'm not so sure how I feel about. Even prior to Burning Man I had really been questioning the brainlessness of my job, after burning man it has been unbearable. Maybe this is the push I need to find a new job. Besides, unemployment is the new black in San Francisco.
But then again there are aspects of my job that I like too...
I just got home and started installing OS 10.2 on my macs, it runs much faster and has a neat little built in iChat thing that allows me to do AIM without using AIM, so somebody AIM me so I can try it out...'kay?
Downside...10.2 seems to be screwing with some of my Digital Audio Recording gear, which I need to get work done. Yikes...

Welcome back friend! Glad to see you were burnin on the playa. I think the whole layoff thing could be an eye opener for you. Maybe it is better for a change of scene. Someone as brainy as yourself shouldn't be limited by such a brainless job. I am anxiously awaiting to upgrade to OS 10.2, glad to hear it runs faster.
