Damn it's been a while since I've updated.
Well this is the news It looks like I will actually graduate at the end of the semester, instead of keeping me here till winter of 2005. FUCK YA!
What am I going to with my art degree and outdoor education degree? Jack shit. I want to get out of this cesspool hell that is Monterey, hell I'll even extend that to the central coast as a whole. I grew up here and it is just so stagnant, I need to get the fuck out.
My plan? Move to Kauai. No insult to and island lifers but people love to hire people from the mainland b/c they have (in general) better work ethic, and less drug issues. So even if I have to take a min wage job, I could really care less b/c in my ten years of extended vacationing there and the two jobs I have had there, I've never been so mellow. On top of that it is the same price (after everything averages out, housing is way cheaper there but everything else costs more) as living in the central coast. Top it off with mmmm island boys.
Ta Da! I'm really happy about this, really. mkay off I go to heave the bullshit around some more.
