i just found out that the agency interested in my book were also John Steinbeck's agent

that makes me feel better. about a lot of things. mostly, i feel better about it being so hot that even just lounging around in my house in panties is too much so i had to let those go my brain feels like its trapped in a glass jar. ugh. can't wait until fall. it brings along such a great mood with it, and i'll hopefully be going to new orleans with treason in october. i LOVE new orleans. i still wanna buy a shotgun house down there, furnish it with a rocking chair and a hot tub and some of those country cocktail jack n cokes (yeah furniture=alcohol) and just watch the sun shoot up and down like a pinball. let the day come and go again, i got nuttin to do with it.......maybe take a bottle of absinthe to this awesome town called Marthaville somewhere in lousiana, too, where i wanna visit cos i'm writing about it right now. i can't wait to go explore the old dirty south again
