OMG
last night the UU Gallery in East Williamsburg attracted quite a buzz. An agent from McIntosh and Otis Inc. was told to take any manuscript she wanted and she took MINE
so hopefully she'll love 'leave me tied to your bed and walk away' and she'll read my new book, too
flippin sweet. this makes me soooooooooooooo happy. i've been wanting to look for an agent since i got here and now one has found me. ahaha. finally about 14 years of writing could be paying off. i mean its always paid off, but yeah, pay off as in those mighty nifty green trading cards we all know and love
so all i got in my mp3 player right now is regina spektor and guns n roses. it gave me an idea for a story. i've always had a thing for axl, especially since that rolling stone interview back in 1992, that was just really bizarre
anyway i was thinking how hot it would be to write a story about an aspired rock star, not yet there, all thuggish and steppin off the city bus lookin for trouble and he meets a wanna be jazz musician hot chick and they tramp it against the soggy wall of a sleazy apartment building on the lower east side where they live, barely, so broke and poor but being poor has always been so much more romantic than being rich. anyway their shabby apartment smells like the burnt surface of a ravioli can and sewer water and canned food shadows the wall at night looking like a factory of towers and roaches climb them like mountains but the wanna be rock star and jazz musician don't notice cos their bangin their brains out sideways and she gets pregnant and everything gets complicated, erm, or something like that.........
speakin of roaches its time to take the trash out.
