how was everyone's christmas? mine was pretty cool. i finished my novel 'bound to die young,' which i'm pretty excited about, and i got a phone call from my sister. we hadn't spoken in like 6 years. things between us haven't been glam since 1999. it was very strange hearing from her, but very cool. i miss her. i need my big sister in my life. no one knows what i went through when i was little better than her, of course that's what makes our relationship hard sometimes, too. ah, life. but anyway, she's coming to see me in june and i'm really happy about that.
then i spent the rest of the day drinking mimosas, watching 'reservior dogs' and 'pulp fiction' then me and treason went to check out 'wolf creek' i LOVED it. i liked the way it slowly built up to the disturbing parts. a lot of horror films don't take the time to do that. john jarret was awesome, kind of like an australian freddy krueger
i dunno what to do with Boys Town right now. i'm in love with the whole writing process - toying with ideas, writing the book, revisions, editing. all of it. i don't know what i want to write about next, what i want to seriously commit to. i need to talk to my agent about some things, too. i'm glad i finished "bound." i have a lot of ideas swimming in my head and i want to wait and see which one turns into a shark.

My xmas is going well, two days of family, drink and food, now it's time to start the socializing with friends again. My brother announced that his wife is expecting a kid so it seems like good news all round on the brothers/sisters-front. You havent spoken to her since '99? Wow, must have been a fall-out/story there.
Must be exciting and daunting thinking about your next project..just include a slightly demented Englishman in there though..
