For me, love is:

- Being attracted to the person, not only the package. Like, if we were just two brains sitting side by side in jars, would I still love him?

- Being able to walk around naked in front of him in full daylight. I hate my body so much and feel so ugly. If he is accepting, then I feel less pressure about it.

- Not minding the flaws. So, he doesn't take the dish back out to the kitchen from the bedroom. That's okay, I'm going that way anyway.

- Mutual respect. He likes BBQ sauce and wearing skirts on occasion. I like Ranch and I only wear pants. And still, all is okay-dokey.

- Being able to be together in comfortable silences. We sat on the rocks at Oak Creek for an hour with little verbal talk, but said a lot to each other with our eyes.

- Still feeling the same when the other person is bitchy, ugly, smelly, broke, lazy and bratty.

- Honesty and communication. Until we evolve another billion years and have ESP, we must speak openly. Keep each other informed of where we are in our lives and our heads so there's no assuming or misunderstanding.

- Feeling inspired, satisfied, enlightened, fulfilled with/by each other. Adding to, not taking away from each others' lives. I am a better person because he is in my life. Awww.

That's just a little bit of what it means to me. But then, I am in the midst of LOVE right now, so I'm pondering it a lot.
