Mary Elizabeth (my mom's cat) had surgery yesterday and is home recovering. I'm so glad the bad part is over and now it's all about healing. The only crappy part is that I, once again, have to take more time out of my already stressed life to do her medications, check on her, take her to follow-up visits, etc. I don't begrudge the cat, but since it is my mom's cat, SHE should be able to take care of her. If you don't want to deal with the bad side of things, then you shouldn't get the good. I have enough going on with MY 3 cats and the Insomniac Pup From Hell. My apt. is a major mess, work is overwhelming.... I NEED A BREAK!!
There is a light at the end of the tunnel though. I have Oct 9-10 off and Oct 27-31 off. Thank you Universe because I'm about to drop face first into a bowl of oatmeal. I'm just that worn out! I need a good sleep, some peace and to be craddled and have my hair brushed ever so gently. Sigh.......
