I was cleaning out my notes on websites and passwords and such and I came across this again. Where's George?
I love it, but then, I am a dorkis. You enter the serial number of a one dollar bill (you can do other bills also) and say where you found it and what condition its in, then write the web address on the bill (in hopes someone will be curious and check it out and post where they got the bill) and then you spend it next time you spend your cashola. It tells you how many miles the bill has traveled and who had it last, etc. I find crap like this really interesting, so I thought I would pass it on.

I watched a documentary on HBO OnDemand called Shelter Dogs. It really touched me how the founder and owner, Sue Sternberg, runs the shelter (Rondout Valley Kennels in NY). She tries to adopt out every adoptable dog there is, and believes in euthanasia instead of keeping non-adoptable dogs in cages long-term. I was dubious when I heard she uses euthanasia, but once I saw the program, I realized that she only does so as a last resort. She talked about the psychological effects of a non-adoptable dog being kept alive, but in prison, for the rest of its life. She showed an example of what it can do to a living creature. It broke my heart. If you can watch the show, watch it. And I dont normally put this out there, but if you believe in her cause, you can donate to her non-profit shelter. I could only send $25, but I think every little bit helps. Here is the donation link (and you can click on Home to read her website and all the cool programs she does).
