10/7/2005 - Playing catch-up!
I hate being sick. Ive had a cold for a few days now and have been medicating like crazy. I also hate to take any type of meds since it messes with my immune system, but my head was so stuffy that I felt like I couldnt breathe. I feel a bit better today, but my energy level is very low. I hate that. I have errands that I want to run tomorrow and I need some stamina, damn it!
The new kitten, Elby, is doing great.
He is in full kitten mode. He seems to get along with all of the other critters just fine, and just loooves to play chase and bounce with them. Elby is quite a little cuddler, when he holds still. He runs around like a little madman and then he wants to lay in my arms. I am a happy kitty mom right now.
And you can kind of see why we named him Elby (L.B.= Leopard Belly) here
Next on the list is the vet appointment. We need to take my older cat, Beau, in for a check-up anyway, so we can do a two-cat trip. Looks like that is going to happen on Monday.
In spite of my feeling yukky, I feel pretty darn positive. Thats kinda odd for me. Maybe its the newly cleaned living room. I am excited to get things done. Things that have been on my to do list forever. Very weird. I really hope I can hold onto this feeling. I want to live my life, instead of hiding from it and feeling terrified all the time.

faiths and religions. (Yes, I do need that and it makes me happy if its true. Except, I dont believe in God/Jesus in the Christian sense of the word, but its nice to know that the Higher Power cares for everyone, even online! LOL.)
a fun, loving, supportive, and caring family that will accept ... (Um, let the creepiness of the web knowing what my biggest needs are begin.)
HELP!!! (I love how its in all caps with exclamation marks. Is Google psychic or something?)
to shut her mouth. (Okay, so this is TRUE in a big way. Unfortunately, the next line was She is fat and ugly. so now I am all depressed about that. Its how I feel most of the time. How does Google know?)
to get to a photo shoot, but she's only got three minutes! (Finally, some comic relief, but the insightful ones keep coming.)
is to know that there is someone in this world she can trust. (Um, again, holy cow. It really is pretty creepy how this little game is bringing up my real issues.)

I will take some pictures of the snuggle monger today. Since my parents have been out of town, all the cats are sleeping in bed with me... poor voxie is just sleeping on the living room chair.
