It's ok to be sad b/c it is a great loss. You'll always have those wonderful memories & that is something to cherish. But it is hard & you're not being selfish if you're feeling angry or empty or just in great pain. You have to go thru all of those emotions to complete the healing process. Which I'm not sure there is an end to or perhaps it just takes a really looooonnnngggg time.

There are no right or wrongs when you lose someone close to you. I have lost many people in sudden ways like you lost your friend. Everyone deals with this shit differently, so don't ever think in terms of right or wrong. It's really great that you can focus on the positives...keep doing that and you'll get through.

Its thursday and the weekend approaches......
even without a "proper" rountine the weekly cycle causes a rise in adrenalin towards the end of the week....
going to see a Smiths/Morrissey tribute band on friday hopefully this will bring me down a bit !

definitely, check out the smell. there's a million bars in hollywood that run different things different nights of the week. you can get a good handle about what's up with the weekly. i have no idea what's going on in august but i guarantee you it will be hot as hell. it's the same as anywhere, the bigger shows are booked well in advance, and the more local stuff is booked anywhere from the same week to 6 weeks in advance.
