hm.

i saw bulletproof monk this afternoon. why is it that american directors have no clue whatsoever how to shoot or edit a fight scene? its like our honky brains can't figure out how to make a fight scene look graceful, or even an understandable flow of events for that matter. Since when did a whole bunch of three frame shots of fists and feet strung together become cool?

now i hear you kiddies out there saying "but jon, what about the matrix? the wachowski brothers are white?"

to which i respond "simpletons!" (that's cuz i like saying things like "simpletons", or "dullards") "the wachowski brothers hired my homie yuen woo-ping to do the fight scenes"

only jesus christ himself could shoot a better fight scene than my boy woo-ping, and that's just cuz jesus is like, god in the flesh and stuff... among us mortals, woo-ping has no match...

but enough about kung-fu movies...

i got the new aphex twin double disc hoopty the other day... sooooo much fun... i love that stuff... its like musical narcotics or something... i just crank it in my headphones and the world totally disappears...
