The holidays were a great time for me. I got a kickass poker set from my honey, Amy's parents. It comes in a metal case with locks. It looks like I am carrying a gun when I have it with me. They also gave me South Park season 1 on DVD. It was the only one I was missing. smile

Then I drove 13 hours to St. Louis with Amy. That is where my family is. I got a speeding ticket in Waneeky Kansas. Before I got back and I already had a plan on how to spend my Christmas money. frown

On the way out we listened to Jack Kerouac's "The Dharma Bums". It was a great trip book to listen to. As a Naropa student it was really cool to hear about one of the beats and how they came to find and understand Buddhism. After Kerouac died in 1969 a lot of money helped create my school in 1974.

Once we got in my parents took us out to an Indian place to eat. Then my brother and his girlfriend took us bowling and we met up with some of my old friends for drinks. In Boulder, you can't smoke inside, or if you can it is a designated smoking room. In all the bars and the bowling alley I could hardly breathe because I was not used to all the smoke. And it made my coat smell like smoke, which was not pleasant.

It was great to spend so much time with my brother. He wouldn't let me buy a drink the whole time. Very cool guy. And he smoked me out, oh about every day. smile

My brother got me "The Rise and Fall of ECW" on DVD. You see, I was quite the ECW mark back in the day. Excellent DVD.

My parents got us the complete X-Files on DVD. My dad ordered it from China so he got them all for about the price of 2 seasons in the states I think. Yay digital dad.

My cousin asked me to be an usher in his wedding. I wanted to say no, but when I opened my mouth, "ok" came out. Has anyone ever said no to this sort of question? If you or someone you know has, please tell me about it.

I'm going to go play poker and then watch the x-files. see yah.
