A lot of people at work are on vacation. I am not one of them. Those of us not on vacation are starting to get stressed out from the hours we are covering. No one would work for me tonight, so I am on day 5 of 12 straight days on. It will be nice once I get the paychecks. Well, it will be nice for the hospital bills anyway.
I didn't get the promotion at work. It came down to me and the person who got it. Some people wanted to give it to me, some people wanted to give it to the other guy. I missed out. It would have paid me real money too.
Since I know I was a finalist for that job it makes me think, "What the fuck am I doing here, if I can get a job that pays decent money?" sigh
