For those of my friends who do not know: I have a ridiculous amount of food allergies. You can not take me anywhere. It has, for the most part, been a blessing. I am forced to make meals at home, which saves me money, and it is a lot healthier then your average restaurant fare.

So yesterday I go to Thanksgiving at the parent's of emogoddess. In past years the only meat she ate, like me, was fish. This year she decided to eat turkey. Therefore, there was no fish made for the meal. I 1)don't eat turkey, and 2) can't eat something stuffed with bread.

There were mustard seeds in the mashed potatoes. I dislike mustard in anything. I gave it a try, I wanted to like it, but I couldn't eat it. Their were also baked sweet potatoes-another food that my body can't handle.

The one remaining item for me to eat was asparagus. I'm not a big fan, but that was all that was there that I could bring myself to eat. I mean, even if I liked the mashed potatoes then I would have had asparagus and mashed potatoes.

It was a sad culmination to a very long day that saw me get up at 5am to go to work.

If Christmas is like this then I think I'm going to cry.
