A year ago when the Cardinals signed Eckstein I scoffed. Not because of 2005, but because I knew Furcal was becoming a free agent, and that the Braves probably wouldn't resign him.
Seeing all the Furcal hullabaloo makes me wish the Cardinals were in on it. Maybe move Eckstein's rubber arm to second?

ahh, health insurance. what a wonderful thing. i need to make sure my next job gives me health insurance. not that i do anything that would require it, but you never know.
This weekend was a good time. I hung out relentlessly with the SGCO crew. I was trying to get in quality time with OBrien and Trevor before they get shipped off to Iraq next month.
